Working Principles
Smart IC card meter is a gas meter adding pre-paid additional equipment based on ordinary diaphragm gas meter. Pre-paid device includes: IC card module, sampling device of pulse signals, electric valve and IC card etc.
The pre-paid process is: the gas company is to install pre-paid smart gas meter in the user’s residence, with the initial value of available gas volume 0; when the user goes to the gas company to purchase gas, the gas company’s management system is responsible to open an account and purchase gas; the user inserts user card into household gas meter after opening account, and inputs the gas into the meter, and then the available gas is the purchased volume in the IC card; if the gas is used out, the user shall go to the gas company once again to purchase gas and recharge card, on and on, in order to realize pre-payment of the gas meter.

Points for Attention in Transportation, Storage and Installation
1.Air tightness test shall be made before installation of gas meter, and the pressure shall not exceed 50 Kpa. It is forbidden to test leakage with open flame;
2.The gas meter shall be horizontally installed in high point of the pipeline in order to prevent condensate from entering into the meter;
3.The gas meter shall be installed in dry ventilated space, at least 1.5m from fire. It is forbidden to be installed in the bedroom and bathroom;
4.Discharge off air in the gas meter and pipeline before ignition;
5.Install according to the gas feeding direction in the meter. It is forbidden to be reversely installed in order not to damage tools and result in danger;
6.Anti-sprawling, anti-reverse and anti-intrusion in case of transportation and storage, and the stack-up shall not be higher than five coats;
